At Burlington Veterinary Center, our goal is to keep your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets. Our veterinarians at the BVC are devoted to providing you with a rapid and accurate diagnosis of your pet's illness.

Our in-house full service laboratory facilities provide for blood chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, cytological, bacterial culture and parasite testing. Our laboratory allows us to obtain immediate point-of-care lab results in the event that your dog or cat's illness necessitates immediate diagnosis and/or treatment. The Burlington Veterinary Center also partners with Idexx and several other commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized as well as routine testing.

The Burlington Veterinary Center is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery that enables our veterinarians to assess blood chemistry in a matter of minutes. In-house bloodwork is a powerful diagnostic tool often utilized for critical and sick patients in our hospital. The laboratory is also equipped to assess cytology in hospitals of fecal, ear, and skin specimens using a high-definition microscope.
